The ALPFA Mentorship Program is one of ALPFA most powerful resources for incoming members.
The role of the mentor is to provide help and guidance to their Mentee(s) in areas such as resume building, networking skills, interview practice behavior, business etiquette and general career advice.
As a Mentee, you will be paired with a Mentor for the whole semester that will help you and guide you in areas such as resume building, networking skills, interview practice behavior, business etiquette and general career advice. Remember, this is a relationship between the mentor and the mentee, so it is both the mentor and mentee’s job to put as much work as the mentor to make it work. Consider this a great opportunity to gain career advice.
Although participation is greatly encouraged, joining the program is totally voluntary for both mentors and mentees. The when, where and what of meetings between a mentor and mentee are to be worked out by each pair. However, ALPFA officers will guide you through the process, as well as create fun events and activities!
