$30 per semester, or $40 for an annual membership

Are all majors allowed to join?

ALPFA is all about diversity! We accept students of all grade levels, ethnic backgrounds, genders, and orientations. We encourage those who are interested or majoring specifically in Finance or Accounting to join our organization.

When are ALPFA meetings?

Normally, our general body meetings are held in the Aztec Student Union (2nd Floor, Tehuanco Room 212) at 11:30 AM on Tuesdays.

Due to COVID-19, the executive board has decided to continue providing weekly meetings on Tuesdays throughout the semester at 11:30 AM over Zoom.

More information on specific dates will be posted in our calendar page, or you can follow our Instagram @sdsualpfa for updates!

Can I join even if I don’t attend SDSU?

We love our neighboring community college students! ALPFA is currently open to all Business Administration students attending SDSU, and will host a Meet ALPFA meeting this semester with neighboring community colleges for students who are planning to transfer to SDSU.

More information on specific dates will be posted in our calendar page, or you can follow our Instagram @sdsualpfa for updates!

What is the weekly time commitment?

Active members are expected to complete their requirements of attendance, participation, completion of certificate/SDSU workshop, and networking to be considered an active member. We encourage all of our members to go above and beyond the point requirements and attend as many weekly meetings, socials, and collaboration events we host throughout the year. Refer to Active Membership Requirements for more details.

In order to be accepted as a member, membership dues need to be paid on time.
